In his first solo New York concert since the dissolution of The Diplomats, Cam’ron rocked the crowd at New York’s Highline Ballroom for the release party of his upcoming album Crime Pays last night (May 5).

Hosted by Funkmaster Flex, the show was sold out for weeks, with fans and industry insiders alike clamoring to see the reclusive rapper. Kicking off the night over an hour later than expected with “I Really Mean It,” Cam then launched into the rest of his Rocafella-era hits like "Oh Boy," "Hey Ma" [Watch Below] and "Down and Out," [Watch Here] as the crowd matched him word for word. An Ohio contingent of fans at the front of the stage forced Cam’s hand, as he then went into “I Get It In Ohio” and other new material, surprising the crowd with “Bottom of Her Pussyhole” and his remix verse on OJ Da Juiceman’s “Make The Trap Say Aye.”

Though the other members of the Dips were absent, the Harlem rapper ensured that his crew was fully represented, calling for the chants of “Dipset” all evening. Cam also brought out up and coming Harlem rapper Vado for a couple of songs, as well as Birdlady, who closed the show with her contribution to “Cookies and Apple Juice.” [Watch Here] Cam's mother made an appearance onstage as well. Killa blamed his hiatus from the rap game on his mom's health problems.
