Comedian/Rapper Kat Williams Arrested on Weapons Charges

Comedian and rapper Katt Williams was arrested at Los Angeles International airport on Monday afternoon (November 6) after he was found carrying a stolen concealed weapon. According to website TMZ.com, the entertainer was arrested at around 3:00 p.m. near the airport's Terminal 5 after security officers discovered a handgun inside a piece of Williams' carry-on luggage. The officers called the LAPD, who later determined that the weapon was stolen, and also discovered three other weapons inside the luggage Williams had already checked in. Williams was booked on felony charges of carrying a concealed weapon, among other offenses. Williams recently signed a deal with Cam'ron's Diplomats Records to release his debut hip-hop album, and he is scheduled to host the BET network's first Hip-Hop Awards show on November 12th in Atlanta.
