Why are we judging whats good and whats not using unreliable numbers that, for all we know, some high powered executive pulled out of a hat. The real test is the test of time. Lupe shouldn’t be concerned with his sales; there’s a lot of quality on Food. Personally I love it but I can’t say there’s any ground breaking shit there.

If you’ve listened to it or know anything bout Lupe I think you’d know he’s not chasing dollar like other niggas out there… Sure he wants a hit record but can you really compare him to Chingy?

He’ll be touring a while now and making noise inter-nat-ion-all-y. Look at Common; only really blown up in the past few years but heads have known it for years. I wonder how many Resurrection sold on debut? It peaked at #179!

Depends on what folks want to call a FLOP. If you define an album that is Extremely Well-Crafted, each track has been Thought-out and not just made while a nigga was high, and each track tries to reach to a new height and subject matter than the one before, then Yeah I guess Lupe did Flop. Chingy shouldn’t have sold 1 Record if you ask me. Why dont we judge niggas by they thought process while they making a record, as a Measure of Success.
