2PAC is the greastest rapper of all time. Face is second on my list. Biggie was nice on the mic but at the end of the day music is poetry, if you take away the beats, Pac’s lyrics had more meaning to them. Biggie was special in his own right, but Pac was important for our revolution. He spoke from his heart and loved his people till the day he died, and would have become an influential leader for our community. Pac was a poet, an actor, a genious, and a leader who spoke his mind and came from his heart. There was no faking in his songs, “PAIN”,”DEAR MAMA”, “BRENDA’S GOT A BABY” “CHANGES”, “SO MANY TEARS”,”HOLLA IF YOU HEAR ME”,”TRAPPED”, “KEEP YOUR HEAD UP”,”Hail Mary”,”AGAINST ALL ODDS”, “WHITE MAN’S WORLD”,”STRAIGHT BALLIN”. This cat was talented and for anyone to say Biggie is better than Pac need to do their research, Biggie never touched on social issues in his music (hell, he was on BAD BOY with the dancing buffoon, Puff “shiny suit” Combs producing him, Scarface does rap on social issues, but Biggie never had anything to say that was important to our society and Afro-Americans lives. We lost a good brother (PAC) too soon and it seems like from history, all good black leaders die from violence. Anyone with a Pac tatoo get props from me. He should be remembered and part of the sales of this issue of the XXL should go to his mom and his foundation to uphold his legacy. Rest in R.I.P. PAC, the realest cat ever to touch the microphone and always left the MF smokin!
