Yo how can u diss Tribe ..I mean I love Little Borther and they are one of the best hip hop groups of now..But Tribe lay’d the ground work for LB..LB is an off shoot of tribe..soo just be happy that u have someone else picking up the slack where Tribe left off. N as far as sales..that doesn’t mean jack cuz u know if u are a true Little Brother fan Stoneyisland they aren’t selling that much either..

i saw tribe last night at bumpershoot in seattle, WA……dopeness. As far as the stoneyisland comment album sales nowadays in my mind make an album SHIT you sell a billion records “mike jones” and i dont even touch the album MF Doom in my mind one of the best artists to date has never even came close because of the fact he is different and underground bottom line TRIBE CALLED QUEST…..LEGENDARY hope to see a new album keep doin what you do tribe R.I.P. Stoney – It’s obvious that you don’t get this legendary shit. ATCQ led the way for a new brand of hip hop. Record sales are not an indication of quality music. Im not tryin to say that you have to like Tribe to be a fan of hip hop, but you should respect them. Without Tribe and grops like them (De La Soul, Roots, Deap Prez) there would be no Little Brother. Who, by the way, haven’t come close to a platinum record.
