LAPD Drops Gun Charges Against Lil’ Eazy-E

lileazy.jpgLos Angeles prosecutors have decided not to charge rapper Lil’ Eazy-E, son of the legendary N.W.A. front man, after he was arrested on firearms charges last Saturday (June 10). Jane Robison of the L.A. District Attorney’s office stated that there was insufficient evidence to proceed with the case, according to a report from CBS affiliate KCAL. The Compton native, whose legal name is Eric Wright Jr., was arrested along with two acquaintances when officers searched their vehicle during a traffic stop and found two handguns. He was released early Sunday afternoon.
