djquik.jpgWest Coast hip-hop pioneer DJ Quik began serving a five-month sentence in San Bernardino County last Thursday (June 2) for allegedly breaking into his sister’s house and assaulting her in 2003. According to the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, court documents claim that Quik pulled a gun on his sister during a family argument, for which he was ordered to serve 45 days in jail on weekends. Quik then violated his parole by not serving the 45 days, which resulted in Judge Keith Davis upping his sentence to 150 consecutive days. Quik began serving immediately after Thursday’s sentencing.
