Went to the Tribe show in Atlanta on Saturday. It was bananas!! Tribe still has it. Tip and Phife ripped it up. Ali Shaheed is still nice on the 1′s and 2′s. It made me miss real hip hop.

Back in the day I thought most New York rap didn’t even make good elevator music- with the corny rhymes and weak beats. The tribe (along with P.E.,L.L.,and a few more) were the only New York rappers I could bump in the ride or pop in the cassette player at home. I’m glad to see them back at it.
