2006 VH1 Hip-Hop Honorees Announced

VH1 will be hosting its third annual Hip-Hop Honors ceremony at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom on Saturday, October 7. The Honors, which will air on Tuesday, October 17 at 8 p.m., will be a part of VH1’s “Hip-Hop Honors Week.” This year, Wu-Tang Clan, Afrika Bambaataa, Russell Simmons, MC Lyte, Rakim, Beastie Boys and Eazy-E will all be honored. Ice T is expected to host the ceremony.
