2007: DJ Khaled isn’t denying that he suffers from success. The Miami DJ/producer arguably released his strongest album, We The Best, on June 12, 2007 featuring an all-star cast. Guest appearances of this massive compilation album included T-Pain, Fat Joe, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Birdman, Jadakis, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and more.
The album boasted a high amount of sales by selling over 440,000 total copies a year after its release. To add to that, We The Best had a string of catchy street-influenced songs that include “We Takin’ Over,” “I’m So Hood” and “Brown Paper Bag.”

11 years later, Khaled is still producing hits.  Many of the album's collaborators—Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Drake, French Montana—are currently part of his collection of go-to MCs. Although he has parted ways with Cash Money Records, the entrepreneur DJ has done it bigger than ever in recent years. In 2017, the irrepressible DJ held Las Vegas residency at TAO nightclub. Around that same time, he started his own podcast on Beats Radio. Then, he became a certified Snapchat star.

The hitmaker is still dropping number one songs and last year, he unloaded his star-studded Grateful album, continuing his run of success. He approached that same success when he dropped his long-awaited Father of Asahd album in 2019. It’s safe to say that Khaled’s at the top and isn’t looking down.
