2008 - Five years ago today, Detroit veterans Eminem and Royce Da 5'9" officially ended their long-standing feud. The beef between the former Bad Meets Evil duo began after a falling out between Royce and members of Eminem's D12 crew in 2003. During the height of their beef, Royce released a number of diss track towards Em and D12.
Em and Royce briefly reconciled in 2006 following the murder of mutual friend and D12 member Proof. However, it wasn't until '08 that the two emcees officially reunited. Since then, Em has signed Royce's group Slaughterhouse to his Shady Records imprint. The two also released a second Bad Meets Evil project Hell: The Sequel in 2011.
