And I recognize Ahmad Jamal “Swahililand” instantly. The summer of 96 I was 13. And when I used to watch rap city certain songs would just grab me as a child mo michael jackson. Certain songs would have me jonesin as a kid. The most beautifullist thing in this world, flavor in ya ear remix, perfect match by cella dwellas usually somethin with a dope beat( It still happens but now I usually hear it online first). Think rap city circa joe claire. One of those tracks was fuckin de la soul’s
    stakes is high. Im from Ecorse a city outside of Detroit so RIP J.Dilla. That sample gives me the chills and will i am tried but it doesnt match how J freaked it. Im about to get that song off of LIme wire now.
