Watch The Throne Fans Talk ‘Gotta Have It’

Although Kanye West’s production imprint looms large on the Watch The Throne LP, he isn’t the only big name to grace the production credits. “Gotta Have It” is a track produced by The Neptunes and their signature sound is just the platter Jay and Kanye need for their back and forth verses where the stars talk up their riches with braggadocious flair. The short track is peppered with somber piano stabs and a cleverly placed James Brown sample which lasts throughout, giving the song a full feel even with is brief length.
