Lil Wayne Drops ‘Sorry 4 The Wait’ Covers ‘Gucci, Gucci,’ More

For prolific rapper Lil Wayne, two years is quite a long time for an artist known for his voluminous creative output; His last mixtape No Ceilings was released in 2009. Today (July 13), the Young Money head honcho laced the masses with his latest official mixtape Sorry 4 The Wait – and it appears Weezy decided to torch all of the latest hits of the year in his signature fashion.

While a bit thin on features with only one Young Money artist featured in Gudda Gudda, Lil Wayne hits fans with a curveball by enlisting eccentric yet wildly popular Bay area rapper Lil B who both go in over Waka Flocka Flame’s hit “Grove St. Party.” Other tracks include a triumphant “Tunechi’s Back” over Meek Mill’s “2Pac Back” track – making it yet another song using the beat. Wayne also tackles Kreayshawn’s smash “Gucci Gucci” and then gets busy over YMCMB foot soldier Drake’s silky groove “Marvins Room” as well. Read more…
