Although currently behind bars for a 2007 weapons charge and receiving additional timeMonday (July 18) on tax evasion charges, Queens rapper Ja Rule thought far enough into the future to prepare two new singles – one with video treatment – ahead of the release of his upcoming seventh studio album.

This fall, Ja Rule’s latest album Pain Is Love II will feature the singles “Real Life Fantasy” and “Black Vodka” – with Ja Rule linking with legendary Hip Hop video director Hype Williams for the clip for the first single. A second single “Black Vodka” will also get a video as well sans Rule. After completing mixing for Pain Is Love II shortly before entering prison, Ja Rule is said to have a hand in creative direction and roll out of his LP all while approving all executive decisions regarding the release. Read more...
