By now, Kanye West is well beyond the need for cosigns although having one of the world’s most popular female entertainers vouching for you isn’t exactly a bad look for anyone. Beyoncé, just a month into promoting her latest solo album 4, worked alongside the enigmatic and talented producer for the Andre 3000-assisted track “Party” on her latest LP – further cementing a bond between the pair after Beyoncé recorded with Kanye during sessions for Ye’s last album and other past works.

In an interview with Complex magazine, the sultry superstar talked up a bevy of topics including what inspired her newest work, reaching out to past collaborators and forging new partnerships and the challenges of attempting to create a new sound within her work in a changed industry.
