MTV Jam Of The Week: Lupe Fiasco’s ‘Words I Never Said’

“We got the number one record in the country,” Lupe announces as he opens his single off Lasers“Words I Never Said” live on stage. The Hip-Hop artist performed the Alex Da Kid produced track (featuring Skylar Grey) poolside with a live band for MTV Spring Break 2011 goers. He was introduced by Jersey Shore cast members DJ Pauly D and Deena, who referred to Lupe as “a man who’s definitely got style.”

Everyone backing Lupe was wearing a version of his exact same outfit – a white t-shirt with camouflage. Everyone on stage was truthfully overdressed, compared to the scantily clad college students that surrounded the pool at MTV’s Las Vegas Spring Break venue. Read more...
