R&B Singer Angie Stone Arrested

Grammy nominated R&B singer Angie Stone was arrested on Sunday (March 27) for driving with a suspended license in Georgia.

TMZ reports that Stone was pulled over for speeding. It was then that officers discovered that her driver’s license was also suspended. The Columbia, South Carolina native was subsequently arrested and released about an hour later.

In 2006, Stone appeared on the fourth season of the VH1 reality series Celebrity Fit Club. In the 80s, Stone was known as Angie B. and part of female hip-hop trio The Sequence, that were signed to Sugar Hill Records.
