Diddy Honored by Jackie Robinson Foundation

A brief history lesson on Jackie Robinson reveals that he was much more than the first African-American major league baseball player. The overachieving hall of famer had many pursuits outside of baseball, including pioneering roles in business and sports analysis. Last night (March 7) in New York City at the Jackie Robinson Foundation Annual Awards Dinner, three honorees were recognized for their respective contributions to society.

Founder and CEO of the Bad Boy Entertainment Group Sean “P. Diddy” Combs were among two honorees to be given the “Robie” Achievement In Industry award along with Joseph R. Perella, CEO and Chairman of Perella Weinberg Partners. This award is given to individuals who have provided charitable and philanthropic works and also excelling in the realms of music and fashion. The award also recognizes achievements and strides made in the world of finance. The third honoree was Senior Vice President of The Coca-Cola Company Ingrid Saunders Jones who won the “Robie” Humanitarian award for her work with charity and notable community initiatives. Read more...
