Michael Rapaport is back-tracking on his negative comments about Meek Mill. After the actor-podcaster told his Twitter followers that Meek was a trash rapper, media personality Sway Calloway decided to get Rapaport to call into Sway's Universe on Tuesday (Feb. 19) to talk about his tweets directed at the Philly MC during his opening set at the 2019 All-Star Game. During their conversation, Sway asked Rapaport why he used those words to describe Meek. Rapaport said he wishes he could take it all back because he feels like he used the wrong word.

"I should not have used that word. He's absolutely not a trash rapper," Rapaport told Sway. "It was wrong and it wasn't the right word. He's not a trash rapper. I can't it but I wish I could take that word back. I'm harsh with my hip-hop opinion and it was just the wrong word. It's just not valid and not true. It just wasn't reasonable and it was a stupid word to use."

Rapaport's retraction comes after Meek responded by putting him on full blast on his own Twitter timeline. After he called him out, Meek reposted Rapaport's selfie with him and Nicki Minaj and claimed he had no idea who he was when Rapaport asked for the photo.

"Aye @michealrapaport don’t ever use the word trash when you speaking on nothing from our culture unless you tryna get trashed #2 who gave you authorization to be speaking on us? #3 what you charging now? Last time I seen You you wanted a selfie be great tho on the net ‍♂️,"
