On Tuesday (Feb. 12), singer Justine Skye made an attempt to file a police report documenting the abuse she allegedly experienced at the hands of rapper Sheck Wes. Later that day, she used her Instagram story to explain that she was met with disrespect when she visited the West Hollywood Sheriff's station.

"Different precinct now trying to file the last report but their so rude, dismissive and disrespectful," Skye wrote in a story yesterday. "Called me a 'difficult victim' when he wouldn't even let me finish telling him what happened before he could give me a list of reasons as to why he can't help me, Deputy Holden."

She continued by highlighting a stigma about domestic violence victims that most women can understand. However, the Roc Nation artist says that she's not giving up that easily.

"This is why most women don't got to or call the police by the way... especially dealing with male officers/deputies whatever tf... but don't let them discourage you because I for sure am not," she wrote on her Instagram story.

Skye doesn't confirm whether or not she was able to file her report with police. Her recent trip to see the LAPD comes after she finally broke her silence about the identity of her alleged abuser. After she outed Sheck Wes as the ex-boyfriend who reportedly abused her during their relationship, the Harlem native jumped on Twitter to vehemently deny that he ever hit her.

Skye responded by providing what she feels is evidence of their past transgressions including security footage from her home. Despite the accusation that all his friends knew of the abuse, Wes maintains his innocence. As of this report, no charges have been filed against him.

Yesterday, Sheck's legal team issued a statement on the matter of Justine allegations.

The statement reads: "We are actively investigating the allegations against Sheck Wes and are fiercely standing by him through this. He has denied any wrongdoing whatsoever or violence of any kind and we believe him. He will defend himself against this serious defamation of character with any and all legal remedies available and for now will leave this with the legal process. Sheck is a strong supporter of the rights and liberties of all people and is appalled by these wrongful allegations and attempts to assassinate his character. He will no longer sit by and allow these falsehoods to live on any further."
