On Sunday night (Jan. 13) in Los Angeles, Yasiin Bey performed his classic cuts over beats for his frequent collaborator and longtime friend, Kanye West.

The "Ye Bey" mash-up went down at the Regent Theater, and featured Bey's "Ms. Fat Booty" over Ye's "Devil in a New Dress," "Mathematics" over "New God Flow," "Life In Marvelous Times" over "Good Morning," "Quiet Dog" over "Black Skinhead" and more. Bey also performed "Two Words," a Kanye collab from Yeezy's debut album, The College Dropout.

This performance arrived nearly three years since he announced his retirement, but he's clearly not dropping off the radar completely. He told the AP that despite his retirement, he will always be creating. He assured fans that he won't be disappearing, and performances like this one prove he's lived up to his word. Spitting over Kanye production is an added bonus.

Speaking of Kanye, Trump fan is currently gearing up to welcome his fourth child — his second son with wife, Kim Kardashian-West. Yeezy's also splitting his time between Los Angeles and Miami as he continues work on his next project, Yandhi. Migos, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Timbaland, Tee Grizzley and YNW Melly have all been spotted working on the album and are expected to make appearances.
