Trippie Redd dodges jail time after striking a plea deal in a case revolving a fight he and Lil Wop were involved in last May. TMZ reported the news on Monday morning (Jan. 28).

According to the celebrity news site, the rapper, who recently traded shots on Instagram with Rae Sremmurd's Slimm Jxmmi, has pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct. As a result of the deal, Trippie has seen his three other charges of simple battery, fighting in public and criminal trespass get dropped. He now has to pay $2,425 in restitution to the rapper he allegedly assaulted. He's been given six months probation. Still better than jail.

This news comes out as Trippie Redd starts off his Life’s A Trip Tour. As we mentioned above, this entire case stems from a scuffle that took place in May 2018. In the incident, Trippie and Lil Wop allegedly jumped Atlanta rapper FDM Grady and a couple of others.

According to Grady, the fight was the result of disrespectful comments aimed at his girlfriend. The rapper supposedly pulled out a gun before the fight started.
