It looks like Sage The Gemini is planning on getting back in the limelight in 2019.

After a relatively quiet couple of years, the platinum-certified "Red Nose" rapper ended 2018 in the studio, and shared a preview of what's to come in a one-minute snippet.

"I promise I’m workin hard," Sage said in a video shared to Instagram on Sunday (Dec. 30.) "I’m only showing y’all these lil snippets because I don’t want you to accuse me of making anything up. (In my Dr Lea Voice)"

In the clip, Sage lets the menacing beat play for a while as he looks into the camera, before he comes in with more sinister bars than we're used to from the Bay Area rapper.

“Need the long clip so I’m ready for it/For two reasons — in case I miss or just to make sure," Sage raps. "Why the fuck you wanna play for/click clack, nigga face forward!"

Though he has kept a relatively low profile since bursting on the scene in 2013 with back-to-back hits "Red Nose" and "Gas Pedal," Sage has still remained busy. In 2017, he dropped his debut mixtape, Morse Code, and appeared on the highly successful The Fate of the Furious soundtrack. Just last year, he collaborated with 03 Greedo on "No Ex's," and later, shared the visual for his track, "4G."
