After speaking on the importance of Eminem's cosign last year, it seems like Boogie has locked in a collaboration with Slim Shady for his upcoming album.

Earlier today (Jan. 2), the "Self Destruction" rapper posted a tweet confirming that he had "a confirmed Eminem feature" on his major label debut via Shady Records. According to the now-deleted tweet, their collaboration, which is reportedly called "Freak" and features a guest spot from Anderson .Paak, was supposed to appear on the original soundtrack for the Eminem-produced battle rap comedy film Bodied. However, since the soundtrack didn't drop after the movie was released in November, it looks like the song could end up on Boogie's debut album.

Last year, Boogie sat down with XXL to talk about transitioning from Interscope Records to Shady Records. The "Oh My" rapper boasted about how blessed he was to earn a cosign from the Kamikaze MC.

"I think that was just the universe telling me I needed more help," Boogie told XXL. "I feel like we were doing so much, all we could to get to a certain level, but in the day and age it is, you need a cosign as sad as it is. And I'm super blessed for having this cosign, but you need a cosign these days and having Em, the greatest rapper of all-time, is crazy."
