You never know who's watching. Z Money, the 25-year-old Chicago rapper, has been in the mix for a while, with his unique style popping up on the XXL radar as far back as 2013. Now, years later, he's signed to Gucci Mane's 1017 Eskimo Records with a flurry (burr!) of other young talent.

With his Chiraq Mogul mixtape dropping a few months ago in August and the remix of his album cut, "Givenchy," now featuring Shoreline Mafia's OhGeesy, behind him, Z Money stopped by the XXL office for a freestyle in our What I Do series.

The start of Z Money's verse is all about he's livin'. "Hustlin' every second, any second I might buy a necklace/Smokin' on this Texas, roll you one ’cause I'm not fuckin' passin'," he raps. "Keep a junkie with me always, I might need him test it/Hit your block and shot a throwback/All you see is Mac-11s."

He has more tough talk for any opposition: "Threw so many bulelts at ’em, they can't throw no bullets back/Niggas really out here tellin', that wont get ya homie back/Every rapper in my city know I'm flexin', that's a fact."

Besides delivering a new freestyle, Z Money also talked about how he's changed as an artist over the years. "I used to sit in the studio and just write, long-ass albums," he said. "I ain't gon' lie, I used to take a long-ass time to write. I really freestyle now, it just comes off to me naturally. I'm an artist now."

Watch Z Money in his element as he freestyles above.
