Earlier this year, fans were treated with the good news that Will Smith and Martin Lawrence will reunite again for Bad Boys 3. Now comes word that another rapper could possibly join the cast.

In a since-deleted Instagram post from earlier this week, Romeo Miller, Master P’s son, announced that he is getting a callback for the buddy-cop film. In a screen shot captured by The Shade Room, Romeo wrote, “Get call back opportunity yo work alongside your idols Martin Lawrence and Will Smith, you go study and go ghost.”

There has been no official confirmation from the producers of Bad Boy 3 of Romeo joining the movie. In fact, details on the project have been extremely secretive.

But here’s what we do know. The film will be directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. The movie's release date is set for Jan. 17, 2020.

There’s not a lot of information on the two Netherland directors, but the duo certainly have an eye for flashy, violent and dizzying visuals. As seen in the trailer for their 2018 flick, Gangsta (aka Patser), they know how to blow things up and deliver quick cuts of action.

As for Romeo, he's been acting steadily since 2001 beginning with a cameo role in the film Max Keeble's Big Move. Recently, the 29-year-old rapper-actor has starred in Fox's hit drama Empire. Romeo can be seen next in I Got the Hook Up 2, which arrives in theaters next year.

On Wednesday (Dec. 12), Romeo posted a trailer of I Got the Hook Up 2 on his Instagram page. You can check it out below.
