Master P Addresses Kodak Black’s Comments About Him Wanting Money for Mentorship

Master P has finally addressed Kodak Black over his comments regarding their business relationship earlier in his career.

As you may recall, during his recent interview with The Breakfast Club, the Dying to Live MC said that his mentorship with Master P was all about a paycheck and nothing much else.

On Christmas Eve (Dec. 24), the No Limit Records mogul went on his Instagram page to clear the air about their prior business arrangement.

"A lot of these artists, when you try to help them, they say something crazy," he said in the video. "The only thing I was trying to do with the little boy was help him. Everything you doing on social media is telling on yourself."

"You're the police because you're telling on yourself. You're putting guns. You're putting money up. You got 150 Gs, but you can't give 10 Gs back to the community or school you went to." he continued. "It’s ok to say you don’t know everything. It’s ok to reach out to people who have been there before you. Put your trust and faith in God and you can make it through anything."

Master P's Kodak-directed comments come just a little over a week after Kodak once again spoke on the mentorship he received from the New Orleans rap legend. "How you gonna say, ‘Okay it ain’t about no money,’ but then turn around and be on some money shit?" Kodak said during his most recent visit to The Breakfast Club.

This also wasn't the first time that Kodak had spoken on his business relationship with the No Limit boss. In 2017 he accused the rapper of exchanging money for mentorship.
