Kodak Black was in disbelief when he learned that XXXTentacion was fatally shot at the top of the summer, but now he's putting his friend's death into a rare perspective that no one saw coming.

Today (Dec. 14), the Florida rapper's sophomore album, Dying to Live, dropped with songs featuring Lil Pump, Travis Scott, Offset and Juice Wrld. However, one song in particular called "Malcolm X.X.X." produced by Major Nine features Kodak speaking about XXX's death, and comparing it to the late human rights activist el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz aka Malcolm X.

"X was tryna buy a bike and he got gunned down," Kodak raps. "X was tryna change his life, but he got burned down/X wasn't ridin' with no pipe so he got gunned down/Listen, do as I say, don't do as I do/Nine out of ten, it ain't gon' end up lookin' good for you."

Although XXX doesn't have a verse on the record, Kodak ensured that his spirit lingered within his lyrics. Both XXL Freshmen have linked up together before for their smash hit "Roll in Peace," which appeared on the Atlantic Records signee's Project Baby 2 album.

This isn't the first time Kodak has spoken on XXX's death since the tragedy transpired earlier this year. Back in September, the "Calling My Spirit" rapper claimed that he still talks to Jahseh in the afterlife. He hopped on Twitter to inform his fans about what they talk about.

"RIP XXX HE TALKS TO ME," Kodak tweeted an hour after he said, "I Need To Do Movies Im A Special Kid..."
