Busta Rhymes is suing a former employee for allegedly pretending to be his manager without his knowledge.

According to two separate reports from TMZ and The Blast, Bussa-Buss alleges that during his working relationship with Rasheem “Bubba” Barker, he didn’t authorize him to “negotiate or enter agreements with third-party promoters binding Plaintiffs to render the professional services of Plaintiff Smith.”

The "Get It" rhymer claims that in 2016, Barker allegedly pocketed $20,000 for a gig that he booked on his own and that he did it again in 2018 for $40,000 for a show in New Zealand.

As a result of Barker’s alleged nefarious activities, Busta said that someone won a default judgment against him for $22,000 after he was a no-show for a gig that Barker allegedly booked.

Now the Freestyle King wants to protect himself and is suing Barker for restitution, though the exact amount is unknown. TMZ reports that Busta is seeking $500,000 in damages. The Blast reports that it's $1.5 million. Either way, it looks like Busta

Earlier this week, the Flipmode Squad leader went on his Instagram account to expose Barker. In the video, Busta warned promoters of Barker. In a lengthy message he wrote (in all caps):

"TO ALL BOOKING AGENTS, PROMOTERS & ANYONE INQUIRING ABOUT BUSTA RHYMES, CONGLOMERATE OR FLIPMODE BUSINESS!! DO NOT SPEAK TO RASHEEM “BUBBA” BARKER ABOUT ANYTHING CONCERNING MY BUSINESSES!!
