Blueface Confirms New Songs With Drake and Quavo

Los Angeles rapper Blueface has found himself in a position countless artists only dream of: receiving a co-sign from none other than Drake. During an interview with Real 92.3 LA this past Tuesday (Dec. 4), the 21-year-old confirmed that the Toronto heavyweight is taking his endorsement to the next step by hopping on a track with him.

Earlier this week, Drake reached out to Blueface in a DM to lend his support, further solidifying that the hard work the West coast rapper has been putting in is officially paying off. In addition to singing Blueface's praises, Drake also shared that he had reached out to his trusty producer Boi-1da, who recently garnered a 2019 Grammy Award nomination for Producer of the Year, to cook something up for their pair to collaborate on.

After expressing that he was hesitant about calling Drake's DM a co-sign given that the nature of their interaction was private, the new Cash Money signee humbly agrees with the hosts that Drake reaching out to him is a sign he's doing something right.

"It's coming," he says, speaking about their upcoming collaboration. "You know, it's coming. I had sent him something and he sent me some beats; it's in the making. We got something in the cut.

Elsewhere during his conversation with the hosts on Real 92.3 LA, the "Respect My Crypn" rapper added that given the monumental spike in attention surrounding his bourgeoning career, a handful of rappers have reached out to collaborate, including Quavo and Philthy Rich. He says their collaborations have already been recorded and will be dropped in the near future.

While the rapper, who recently was arrested for retaliating after being robbed, has not yet confirmed a release date or shared any additionally information about his collaboration with Drake, it's safe to say that his career is heading in an upward direction now that someone of Drizzy's stature and influence is involved. Drake previously had a hand in helping Memphis rapper BlocBoy JB's career, with their collaboration "Look Alive" helping solidify his ascent in music, as well as earn him a slot in the 2018 XXL Freshman class.
