The complicated saga of 6ix9ine's legal issues continues. Yesterday (Nov. 30), Page Six reported that the rapper could be re-sentenced for a sexual misconduct case he got probation for back in October.

According to the site, Justice Felicia Mennin met with Tekashi's legal counsel on Friday, and it was at that point that it was decided he could be re-sentenced to time-served for his sexual misconduct case, which stemmed from his groping a 13-year-old girl while making a thrusting motion toward her in a 2015 video. In October, 6ix9ine was sentenced to four years probation and 1,000 hours of community service for violating his probation related to the original case.

As we mentioned up top, this development comes up after 6ix9ine's recent arrest on federal racketeering charges. After all, it the terms of his most recent probation stipulates that any arrest would be a violation of the plea deal. On Nov. 18, federal agents arrested Tekashi for a mix of firearms and racketeering charges. He's currently facing 32 years to life in prison, but his attorney Lance Lazzaro believes the rapper will eventually be cleared of the charges.

"I believe that the charges against him is an over-charge by the U.S. Attorney's Office and that when the facts come out I am confident that the charges will be dismissed as it relates to Daniel Hernandez Tekashi 6ix9ine," Lazzaro told XXL two days after 6ix9ine was arrested on the federal charges.

The trail for 6ix9ine's federal racketeering charges, which he has plead not guilty to, is set to begin on Sept. 4, 2019.
