Earlier today (Dec. 21), 21 Savage released his highly anticipated I Am > I Was album. Now, the 26-year-old rapper reveals that he has a verse from Travis Scott on the way.

Keeping his fans in the loop with his music, 21 shared that the Astroworld rapper's verse will be worth the wait on Twitter. "Travis verse will be released very soon and your headphones gone blow up," he wrote.

Appearing on The Breakfast Club as part of his press tour, 21 explained the delay in Trav's verse. He explained that Travis' contribution to the track is more than just a hook or verse.

"Travis is crazy man," 21 said. "Y'all know how Travis is. He's a perfectionist. He's been working on that shit for a minute. He sent it last night. And I was trying to get it, but they was talking a whole bunch of shit I don't understand." 21 later clarified that the delay wasn't due to clearance issues. "Nah, it's codes and some other shit. But they gon' get it on there though. That shit hard, though. That shit too hard," he said.

Elsewhere during the interview, 21 reassured that his track "Ball W/o You," is not about his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose. He revealed that the track is simply about relationships in general. "It ain't really about her, it's just about relationships," 21 said told the Breakfast Club today.

I Am > I Was serves as 21's sophomore album. The 15-track offering features guest appearances from Childish Gambino, ScHoolboy Q, Lil Baby, Gunna, Post Malone, Offset and more.
