Young Thug is headed to the 2018 Miami Beach Art Basel—sort of. On Tuesday morning (Nov. 13), it was announced that Netherlands-based artist Hajar Benjida will be bringing her famous Thugger-inspired artwork, which she posts regularly to her Young Thug As Paintings Instagram account, to the art festival next month.

Young Thug As Paintings is an Instagram account Benjida uses to juxtapose images of Thugger with classic, Renaissance-era paintings among other pieces of classical art. The account and the works it carries started out as Benjida's school project, but eventually it got over 45,000 followers on Instagram,

"I jokingly answered an interview question with 'I hope to discuss Renaissance paintings with Thug someday,'" Benjida says in a statement. "1.5 years later and I'm bringing my project to life together with Young Thug himself."

The Young Thug As Paintings exhibit will be available for viewing from Dec. 4-Dec. 9 at the 18th Annual Scope Miami Beach Art Fair. Scope, which is sponsored by Thugger's Young Stoner Life Records and 300 Entertainment, is a satellite art fair that takes place during Miami Art Basel. Speaking on the official unveiling of the exhibit, 300 Entertainment's Head of Cultural Marketing, Rayna Bass, says the installation is a coll way to celebrate Thugger's influence.

"Young Thug is one of the most profound artists of this generation and we're going to continue to celebrate him in the most innovative ways," Bass said. "Hajar Benjida's display of Thug's influence through art disruption is incredible. This is also a celebration of Hajar's talent and her appreciation of the culture."

It's unclear how, exactly, Thugger has personally invested in this project, but you have to think he'd appreciate Benjida's work. Hopefully the rapper, who was put back in jail after failing a drug test last week, is out in time to take in the exhibit.

If you're in Miami, be sure to check out the exhibit. You can cop tickets to attend at Scope's official website for the event.
