Rod Wave is preparing to end the year off right. His new mixtape, Hunger Games 3, will be released on Dec. 7. As a treat, the Florida rapper drops off his single "Yessir."

Hunger Games 3 serves as the follow-up to Rod's May-released project, Hunger Games 2. The Down South native's offering earned praise from some of hip-hop's well-known artists including Kevin Gates and Moneybagg Yo.

"Yessir," which is on the upcoming mixtape, features the rapper reflecting on his rise to success throughout the years. On the rippling, piano-led beat, Rod showcases his flow.

"Straight from the bottom to the top/I knew that I was a star/Had to beat out the odds/But now I'm standing," he raps.

Elaborating on his rollout of releases back in June, the Hunger Games series rapper teamed up with GlokkNine to release their visual for "Bag." On the uptempo beat, replerte with a flute, both rappers discuss securing the bag.

"You don't owe a nigga nothin'/Keep on grindin', turn nothin' to somethin'," Rod says on the hook.

GlokkNine chimes in for his verse. "Finessing all you crash dummies, quick to pull a prank jit/Uh, aye I'm quick to pull a prank jit/I was on that ketchup suuwoo leave a stain shit," he spits.
