Chicago rapper Lud Foe is fluent in plug talk. Just check out his rhymes in XXL's What I Do series in case you weren't familiar with what he's got to offer.

"I kilo saran wrap, my dope's smothered/Out of my trap I take catnaps, I'm no sleeper/Nigga, fuck your plug, shop with me and get it cheaper/Smokin' on some potent reefer, you smoke sativa/Bitch, I'm ballin', fuckin' all the cheerleaders," the 22-year-old rhymer delivers.

Real Lud Foe fans know those lyrics he's spitting for his freestyle come from his track "Witcha," a collaboration with G Herbo featured on Foe's recently released Boochie Gang mixtape.

The new tape, which arrived in September, follows the release of 2017 projects like No Hooks 2 and his Get Well Foe effort. The latter was inspired by his healing process as a result of a serious car crash with an 18-wheeler vehicle last March, which left him with two broken wrists and a broken jaw. With a renewed focus and back in business, Boochie Gang finds Foe delivering traptastic rhymes over rattling beats produced mainly by his longtime collaborator KidWond3r. Juicy J links up for the grimy ode "That Be Me," Mozzy joins forces for the aggressive track "Die 2" and SG Batman connects on two songs, "Everywhere We Go" and "Street Shit."

Boochie Gang was two-and-a-half years in the making, and was even created before Foe dropped No Hooks and No Hooks 2. "I really felt like No Hooks 1 and 2 I was getting my point across," he reveals. "I was trying to prove something. And that point is proven." Now he prides himself on his artistic growth, with street bangers like 2016's "Cuttin Up" putting him on the map. "I'm just growing as an artist, development, you know?" Foe shares.

What's up next for Lud Foe? "Tour, really like just having fun with it, enjoying it," the rhymer says. And with his first child, 8-month-old Zayden, arriving this year, the future is full of surprises. As a new dad, life is different for Foe. "It feels good, it feels different," he admits. "It feel like I gotta push myself more. I gotta stay motivated, positive. Try to make a way for him."
