Congrats are in order for Tyler, The Creator. Yesterday (Oct. 17), the rapper signed a deal with Sony Pictures.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the deal involves Tyler and his producing partner, Lionel Boyce, creating projects for television and digital. The projects will be both scripted and unscripted for Sony underneath their Bald Face Productions.

Sony Pictures Television President Jeff Frost explained how excited he is to work with Tyler.

"To be partnering with the creative genius of Tyler, the Creator and Lionel Boyce is a dream come true for us as we've long been fans of their," said Frost. "Tyler's unconventional ingenuity is unparalleled, and we are excited about the prospect of what we can create together."

In addition to this TV deal, the "Puff" rapper has previously worked on Adult Swim's The Jellies! and Loiter Squad which premiered last year. The rapper will also remake "You're a Mean One, Mr.Grinch," for the iconic Christmas film How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Tyler revealed that he is partaking in the new movie by uploading the trailer to his Instagram. The trailer ends with "Featuring new songs from Tyler, the Creator" hinting that the MC could have his hands full with more than one song remake.
