South Florida rapper Koly P was shot on Saturday night (Oct. 13) and we know that because the artist went live on Instagram from the back of an ambulance as he was being transported to the hospital.

Information on the shooting is scarce, but on Saturday night, fans who logged on to Koly's Instagram live were greeted by the rapper wincing on a stretcher in the back of an ambulance. He carried on a brief conversation with paramedics during the IG live session.

“This is my third time being shot,” he said after paramedics ask him about his pain level.

“Really? In the same neighborhood?” the paramedic replied. “You better get out.”

“I’ve been shot in my stomach,” Koly responded, visibly in pain at times. “I’ve been shot in my hand.”

Koly P has confirmed with XXL that he was shot last night, but he's doing okay.

According to the Sun Sentinel, Koly was shot in the hand in March 2018 at The Koly Stop, a store he'd recently opened in his hometown of Pompano Beach, Fla. He was shot in the stomach several years prior.

The severity of the current situation is unclear, but according to a post by Koly P's DJ on Sunday (Oct. 14), the rapper will be performing in Tampa, Fla. on Monday (Oct. 15). Koly released his Koly Bible 2 mixtape in February. The 20-song project features Boosie BadAzz and more.
