Young Thug plans to continue his productive 2018 run with a new album. The Atlanta rapper just revealed the new LP, titled On the Run, will be coming out this week.

Thugger made the announcement on Twitter on Sunday (Sept. 9), simply warning fans, "Album in two days," followed by "'ON THE RUN.'" A follow-up tweet from his YSL label's account confirmed the good news that the project will be dropping on Tuesday (Sept. 11).

Thugger has already had a busy year, dropping the Hear No Evil EP in May, which featured Nicki Minaj, Lil Uzi Vert and 21 Savage. He followed that up last month with the Slime Language compilation mixtape featuring Lil Uzi Vert, Gunna, Lil Baby, Jacquees and more.

News of the new album comes on the heels of Thug being charged with eight felonies in connection with his 2017 arrest in Georgia. In the incident, police initially pulled the rapper over in Brookhaven, Ga. for having illegally tinted windows. Upon a search of the car they found drugs, guns and almost $50,000 in cash in the vehicle.

Earlier this week, charges were officially filed revealing Thugger is facing charges of possession and intent to distribute meth, hydrocodone and weed. He's also charged with two counts of codeine possession and possession of amphetamine, Alprazolam (Xanax) and a firearm. Hopefully, he doesn't go on the run for real.
