Trippie Redd Thinks His Music Is the Best in Comparison to Competitors

Trippie Redd is a pretty confident fellow and apparently has no problems showing that confidence no matter who he offends.

On Thursday (Sept. 27), the 2018 XXL Freshman hopped on his Instagram Story to bombast about his self-perceived dominance over his contemporaries. "I think my music is the best out of all my competitors," he started. "You niggas trash [for real]. It's always the same. Y'all never switch y'all sound...Niggas my age need to better be about the sound and music instead of the temporary fame and money."

He wasn't all negatively critical, however, giving props to artists like Juice Wrld, XXXTentacion, YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Lil Yachty. "[Juice Wrld] my only competition when it comes to REAL MUSIC and knowing how to go from genre to genre on some versatile shit," he added. "#LLJ no one will ever be able to make me feel threatened by they music as if it could be better than mines but [XXXTentacion]."

Trippie has previously talked about how his competition with XXX made them closer. "What y’all don’t know is that x was mad competitive with me and it made us closer than ever cause he seen potential in me he seen in no one else and that’s versatility," he wrote on Instagram. "He loved it and me even after we got into it the 4 times y’all thought only happened once we were brothers and talked everyday no matter what he was the only nigga I considered as family in this industry."

The Life's a Trip artist is prepping the release of his new A Love Letter to You 3 mixtape. He recently teased new material from the forthcoming project on Instagram.
