YBN Nahmir has officially surpassed one-hit-wonder status in the eyes of the Recording Industry Association of America. The 18-year-old from Birmingham, Ala. earned his second gold plaque on Friday (Aug. 10) for his song "Bounce Out With That."

The track, which dropped in January, moved 500,000 units in just under seven months, following "Rubbin Off the Paint" as Nahmir's second gold-certified single. That number includes streams and digital downloads; the RIAA counts 150 on-demand audio and/or video streams as the equivalent of one digital song purchase.

The single's success has been boosted by its Cole Bennett-directed music video, which features a cameo from PNB Rock and currently has over 106 million views. It's Bennett's fifth-highest viewed visual after Lil Skies' "Red Roses" and "Nowadays," Lil Pump's "D Rose"—all three of which were certified gold in recent months—and Lil Xan's "Betrayed," which went platinum in May.

Nahmir is just getting started, too. He plans to release a group mixtape with his YBN crew, including YBN Almighty Jay and YBN Cordae, on Sept. 7. The collective also plans to tour Europe starting in September after Nahmir completes his current tour opening for G-Eazy, Ty Dolla $ign and Lil Uzi Vert.
