It’s been five months since Pouya dropped his latest album, Five Five, but he hasn’t stopped working. Now the Miami rapper has new music on the way with Three 6 Mafia member Juicy J.

Earlier this week (Aug. 8), Pouya shared artwork for the upcoming collaboration “Six Speed" on his Instagram page. The song will feature a verse from Juicy J, which Pouya teased in an earlier Instagram post on July 31. The photo featured a screenshot of a text convo between Pouya and the Memphis rap legend, who sent a verse for the track.

"Here's the verse. Let me know what you think." Juicy J wrote in the text, along with the audio of the track. Upon hearing the track, Pouya seemed thrilled. "Juicy fucking J !!!! bro," he texted back.

Juicy J is more than familiar with the new generation of hip-hop youth. Aside from Pouya, Juicy has collaborated with the likes of Pouya's fam, the $uicideboy$, and even dropped the $uicideboy$-assisted tape, SHUTDAFUKUP, earlier this year.

Pouya recently wrapped his Five Five Tour with Wifisfuneral and Shakewell as well as working with Atlanta rapper J.I.D., for whom he shares an admiration for as a budding lyricist.

“J.I.D. is just ridiculous,” he told XXL in a recent interview. “He made me step in a different realm, he tested my skills as an artist...J.I.D is on some lyrical mastermind shit. I really feel like I had to come correct when doing a song with him.”

There is no timetable on when “Six Speed” or the collaborations with J.I.D. will surface, but they will sure to be pleasant fire for Pouya fans and hip-hop listeners alike.
