Eminem's surprise album, Kamikaze, has some fans saying it's a return to form for Shady but other listeners aren't too pleased with Em's use of a homophobic slur against Tyler, The Creator on the song "Fall."

In the track's second verse, which was released on Friday (Aug. 31), Shady takes aim at Tyler, who has been critical of Eminem's recent work. In the bar, Em calls the rapper a "faggot" although the word is censored. "Tyler create nothin', I see why you called yourself a faggot, bitch/It's not just 'cause you lack attention/It's 'cause you worship D12's balls, you're sack-rilegious," he raps.

The use of the slur angered many on Twitter, who called out Eminem for his repeated use of the word. "Eminem really thought it's cool to call tyler the creator the f word,,,,, didn't his career end 10 years ago lmao," wrote on person.

"WAIT DID EMINEM ACTUALLY USE THE HOMOPHOBIC SLUR IN HIS ALBUM? AGAINST TYLER THE CREATOR? IN 2018," another person tweeted. "Wow he actually did. I'd say i'm not surprised but isn't this dude like 40."

Other people assumed Tyler wouldn't care that Eminem called him the slur, tweeting, "I love @tylerthecreator but some of y'all are overreacting to the @Eminem diss. Do you guys seriously think Tyler gives a fuck if someone calls him a faggot? He used the word over 200 times in Goblin. I doubt Tyler would take offense to this."

Tyler, The Creator isn't the only rapper to feel Eminem's wrath on Kamikaze. On the album's title song, the Detroit spitter takes a shot at Joe Budden, who was critical of Eminem's last album. "Somebody tell Budden before I snap/He better fasten it/Or have his body bag get zipped/The closet thing he's had to hits/Since smacking bitches," Shady raps.
