Don Q Freestyle: Rapper Tackles Tupac's "Ambitionz Az a Ridah"

Fresh off of dropping his new A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and 50 Cent-assisted single "Yeah Yeah," Don Q stopped by Power 106's LA Leakers on Friday (Aug. 10) to spit a freestyle.

The New York rapper was first tasked with rhyming over the Tupac Shakur classic, "Ambitionz Az a Ridah," and gave a shoutout to XXL with his bars. "Got a XXL magazine and it's aimed from the first to the 10th slot/This the playoffs, nigga, I can never sit out/Let's see what target I'ma pick out," he rapped.

Later in the freestyle, Don Q was given the Tay Keith-produced "Exotic" beat to rap over and didn't disappoint. "Since we on the subject of who really run it/Talk about numbers and who really done it/Food in the jungle, then I come out huntin'/Hit me with a bundle get turnt to an onion," Don Q spit.

"Pussy nigga, I should make you bow down and go polish my sneaks/Look at niggas tryna' copy your style, not as unique/I took my shirt off right in front of the audience/Red or blue pill like Morpheus," he continued to rap.

Up next for Don Q, the rhymer is prepping for the release of his Don Season 2 mixtape, which will serve as a sequel to 2016's Don Season. Set to drop on Aug. 31, the upcoming project is the follow-up to Don Talk. Q's last project includes guest appearances from Pusha-T, Tee Grizzley and Desiigner.
