Wifisfuneral and Danny Towers are sitting on heat, according to their Instagram posts on Monday (July 24). The longtime collaborators shared a song snippet for an unreleased track that Wifi called his favorite work so far this year.

From the excerpt, the record sounds like a slow-burner, built around eerie strings and key tones produced by Natra and SkipOnDaBeat. Towers opens with a growling hook about waking up in a drugged-out haze.

"Wake up late, what's your move for today/I feel great, I'll get groovy today/Sweet cold drip with the soupies today/AK-47, a Uzi today," he chants.

The still-untitled song belongs to Danny, with Wifisfuneral appearing as a guest. It's unclear whether it will feature on an upcoming project, or even when it will drop, although both rappers are soliciting input from fans.

"Tag [Towers] and let him know when he should drop it," Wifi wrote on Instagram. "This my favorite song I made this year!!"

The South Florida spitters last collaborated on "Eyez Low" from Wifi's 2017 mixtape Boy Who Cried Wolf. Their work together dates back years to Wifi's first available mixtape, This Is Temporary.

Both made big moves in recent months. Wifi appeared on the 2018 XXL Freshman List and smashed his cypher with Stefflon Don and "Juveniles" collaborator YBN Nahmir. Towers, meanwhile, is currently touring with Ski Mask The Slump God and Bandhunta Izzy.
