YG has found himself in hot water after reportedly being hit with a lawsuit for assault, battery and theft, TMZ reports.

In the suit, a male fan claims to have approached the "Suu Whoop" rapper to take a photo as him and his entourage were strolling through the casino area of the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas last month. YG, however, allegedly refused to do so and then began cursing out the fan. What followed the berating of the fan appears to have escalated rather quickly.

According to the defendant, he began to walk away until the Compton native allegedly ordered his posse to “get him.” The fan then claims that YG’s entourage assaulted him. YG apparently stole the gold chain around the fan's neck as well as its diamond-laced pendant, and quickly fled the scene. The defendant is seeking $250,000 in damages and is also reportedly suing the Cosmopolitan Hotel for inadequate security.

While YG has yet to comment on the harrowing situation, the "Twist My Fingaz" rapper has been gearing up for the arrival of his forthcoming album Stay Dangerous. Back in February, YG shared the project's title as well as the lead single during his The Boogie All-Star Weekend event. Since the announcement, the rapper has yet to follow up with more details regarding a release date. However, early Thursday afternoon (June 21), YG shared that he will be taking over Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on August 5 to the further promote the album with his Stay Dangerous live concert.
