Vic Mensa and  Chance The Rapper's complex friendship as both brothers in rhyme and Chicago natives has been interesting to watch play out over the years as rumors swirled that the two have beefed. But, if you ask Vic, it's seemingly all love between them.

During a recent sitdown with Beats 1, on Monday (June 11), Vic finally put all murmurs of any ill feelings towards the Coloring Book artist to rest and even teased that they already have a collab on the way.

"We been in the studio plenty of times," Vic told host Ebro Darden. "We got a couple of really dope records, actually," he continued. "There was a record that me, Chance, and Valee did at one of my cribs in Chicago."

While The Autobiography rapper remained mum on the details surrounding the music, he did offer a bit of insight into how their relationship has grown despite the flurry of rumors suggesting otherwise.

"That's my brother through and through," Mensa said. "There was times when me and Chano ain't have bus fare and the Milwaukee Ave. bus ain't running, so we sleeping sideways in somebody's abandoned car. I've been through a lot of shit with Chance. Brothers fight, [but] that's been over with for some time now."

The news of Vic and Chance reuniting on wax comes nearly a year after the duo performed together during Lollapalooza. The reunion electrified their beloved hometown and led many fans to start buzzing about the potential of a collab between the two emcees.

There's no doubt in our minds that Vic and Chano linking for new music in 2018 will be a certified banger. Stay tuned for more details regarding their forthcoming collab.
