To cap off a successful half-year, Quavo took home the award for Songwriter of the Year at the 2018 ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards on Thursday night (June 21) in Los Angeles.

The Migos member was honored thanks to some of the hits he penned which include Migos' "Bad and Boujee," "Slippery" and "T-Shirt," as well as DJ Khaled's "I'm the One." Quavo also wasn't the only Migos member to be honored, as the entire group took home the Vanguard Award, which recognizes "the impact of new and developing musical genres, which help shape the future of music."

Offset also stepped in for his pregnant fiancée, Cardi B, who was given the ASCAP Urban award for "Bodak Yellow" but was unable to attend. Offset accepted the award on her behalf and posed on stage with the award as her song played in the background.

Up next for Quavo and the Migos crew, the rapper has hinted at solo projects from the three. During the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, Huncho said the trio was busy at work and said fans should be on the lookout for new music.

While the rapper wouldn't reveal any release dates, he did say a project from DJ Durel would be dropping in the summer and will feature some of the solo songs from him, Offset and Takeoff.

"We got a lot of projects coming this summer," Quavo said. "This July we got DJ Durel; he gonna be releasing a lot of our solo songs on his album. So, we do got solo singles that's coming this summer."
