Since the death of XXXTentacion on June 18, those close to the rapper have been finding new ways to honor him. Now, Lil Uzi Vert has announced his plans to launch a foundation to the help support X's family.

The Philadelphia rapper hopped on Twitter on Tuesday (June 26) to reveal he'd been in discussions with X's family to come up with a way to assure that X's unborn child and family are taken care of. "I don't care if you didn't know him he is part of the hip hop/rock community I NEED HELP from celebrities Please," Uzi tweeted.

The rapper's plea did not go unheard, as Nicki Minaj quoted his tweet, saying she would be honored to help. Lil Uzi also got the support of Lil Yachty, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Ski Mask The Slump God, who added, "Every One Let's Get This Started Asap I Think The Message Behind It Will Help A Lot Of The Youth That Relate To Jahseh Message."

Lil Uzi also revealed the fund won't only be for supporting XXXTentacion's family, but will also assist young artists, as well as young men and women who have died from gun violence. "Think about your families future I know I am," he tweeted. "We can buy chains and watches and cars WE ALSO CAN DONATE AND GIVE AND SUPPORT. Details coming soon....."

XXXTentacion was shot and killed on June 18 in an apparent robbery after leaving RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Fla. Since his death, one suspect has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder. Police have reportedly issued two more warrants for other suspects, but no further arrests have been made.
