James Fauntleroy Slams Pusha-T and Kanye West Amid Drake Beef
As Pusha-T and Drake's beef stalls, James Fauntleroy has some harsh words for the G.O.O.D. Music duo that instigated the battle. On Twitter on Sunday (June 3), the Bruno Mars songwriter slammed Pusha for snitching on Drake's family situation and dissing his friend and producer 40, and accused Kanye West of employing more ghost writers and producers than Drake.
The series of tweets came in response to Push's attacks on Drake in "The Story of Adidon," in which he accuses Aubrey of hiding a child and dodging his baby mother, among other disses. Fauntleroy also points out the irony of the rapper criticizing Drake for using ghost writers, when Kanye, who executive produced Pusha's new album Daytona, allegedly relies on more hired guns than anyone.
"Pusha T was a drug dealer, now he's a snitch," Fauntleroy opened. "It's crazy how you can grow up to be the total opposite of everything you thought you would/wanted to be."
He continued, "What yall don't care about or know is 40 is an actual person, a rare genuine person in a business almost completely full of the opposite - including and especially these bitch ass, promotion hoe ass niggas - Kanye literally has had the most ghostcreators in music history btw."
The songwriter doubled down on this point, adding, "Kanye got ghost writers, ghost stylists, ghost producers, ghosts everything! No wonder these niggas see ghosts! They got em EVERYWHERE."
Fauntleroy, who earned a Grammy this year for writing much of Bruno Mars' album 24K Magic, appeared on Yeezy's Cruel Summer single "Clique," so he speaks with some experience. Pusha and Kanye are yet to respond, although Rap-A-Lot Records CEO J. Prince has claimed that 'Ye called him to squash the beef, in anticipation of a Drake diss track that Prince says Kanye didn't want released, so the war may be over after all.
